Built-Up Letters
Built-up letters are the sign most people picture when they picture a shopfront: individual three-dimensional characters, fabricated one at a time and fixed straight to the fascia or wall. Because each letter is made rather than printed, you get real depth, crisp edges and a finish that still looks sharp years later.
Built-Up Letters, made properly
We fabricate in acrylic, aluminium, brass and stainless steel, and can face-light, halo-light or leave the letters unlit. Everything is drawn and made in-house in Nottingham, so the kerning, the return depth and the colour match are ours to get right — not a supplier's. We survey, manufacture and install the whole thing.
